Over its 40 years the Community Futures Central Island office has lent $30 million dollars to small business in our region, leveraging $44 million in our community and creating/maintaining 5035 jobs.
Community Futures Central Island contributes significantly to economic development throughout the Central Vancouver Island region. Our office works closely with the region’s municipal governments, the central Island Regional Districts, and various Chambers of Commerce in addressing economic and labour market challenges.
Community Futures is also proud to be forging stronger links with Vancouver Island University as we work together to prepare the next generation of community leaders, workers and entrepreneurs!
