On behalf of the volunteers of Arrowsmith Search and Rescue, I wish to thank Community Futures for your financial support of our organization in the construction of our new Operations Centre at the Qualicum Beach Airport.
This support came at a crucial time during the project and was instrumental in allowing us to continue construction without interruption to the schedule.
With our search and rescue call outs having doubled over the past 10 years, our larger, modern Operations Centre, centrally located at the Qualicum Beach Airport, will allow us to better serve our communities by shortening our response time and providing our members with a larger, more effective training facility. While there is still work to be done in the building, we want to show our appreciation for all the support, we have received to get us to this important moment in our building construction.
